Animals Signs

  • Natural Food Co-op 230 N Sibley Ave Litchfield United States (map)

Ever seemed lost? Alone in the world? Nothing there to guide you? Actually there is. There are animal signs everyday in our environment if we take the time to notice. The squirrel that swerves out in your path, the rabbit that traces a maze in your backyard or maybe it’s the hawk soaring high above in the sky. Looking to the natural world for help and wisdom is an amazing thing that can provide helpful hints as to what the world is trying to tell us. Not only that it connects us with the natural world to ground down away from our cell-phone, bluetooth or computer screen and be at one with nature. Come enjoy the evening with herb wrangler Katharine Ostrowski of Urban Nettle and be open to the possibilities of what the universe is trying to tell you.

Disclaimer: This is not using spirit or totem animals or any sacred native traditions referred to as animal medicine. This is taught by a white woman of mostly european-american ancestry. She does not in any way trying to copy or exploit any native traditional wisdom. Animal signs is based on seeing what is in our environment and interpreting the meaning of the animal from its habits, movement, etc, not any native traditions.
